Green With Envy
St. Patrick’s Day is coming, however, you don’t have to come from the Emerald Isle to appreciate the beauty of the color green.
With so many shades, green is a universal color for interiors. If you have neutral base colors like tan or grey, lime green or apple green really pops. Restyled for 2014, olive and avocado green are so retro yet so updated. Wallpaper and fabric manufacturers feature teal heavily in their designs, while emerald (2013 Color of the Year) looks fabulous and rich with purples and orchids.
If you love green and are comfortable using color in your home decor, Company C is currently showcasing an apple green sofa at DesignSourceCT (our homebase). Company C saturates its textiles with color and this sofa coordinates with many of their signature carpets.
Century Furniture also has their Dylan Chair on display at DesignSourceCT. Upholstered in a green and white toile, the chair flaunts incredible detail with a covered button at the top of the center back skirt while the solid green inset of the chair’s pleat is the finishing touch.
